Introducing Cuddle Buddy's Weighted Blanket

Hi Buddies,

When Cuddle Buddy started about 17 years ago, our aim was to sell these really awesome and colourful products that we thought would look spectacular in people's homes and be a great pillow to travel with. We never would have thought our pillows would provide so many with the comfort they longed for!
We have seen our pillows provide comfort to people for so many different reasons including sleeping disorders, pregnancy, anxiety, post-surgery, epilepsy, children with sensory issues - that's just to name a few.
We saw it as our mission and purpose to continue to provide our loyal customer base and anyone else who needs to find some comfort in their life, with a means to find total comfort.
Let's face it, life's better when we're comfortable.
With that in mind, We'd like to introduce Cuddle Buddy's very own Weighted Blanket.
Weighted blankets are designed to relieve stress and create a sense of calm. They do that by providing pressure on the body.
They work in a way that’s similar to an Occupational Therapist technique called Deep Touch Pressure Therapy. Pressure on the body can increase the release of serotonin in the brain. This neurotransmitter is sometimes called the “happy” chemical because it creates a sense of calm and well-being.
Research has found that the following conditions benefit from use of weighted blankets: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Sleeping Disorders, Osteoarthritis and Chronic Pains.
They will be available in early October and we are taking pre-orders now.

**No content on this site, regardless of date, should ever be used as a substitute for direct medical advice from your doctor or other qualified clinician. Weighted blankets shouldn’t be used with infants and toddlers. They can pose safety risks for very young children.

Stay cuddly,

Cuddle Buddy
